Scan piccies

Right well i went to Surestart and came out with loads of leaflets on pregnancy lol (good bedtime reading i guess :p) Cos we thought i was further on that what everyone else was in the room the midwife rang the doctors to see if they had any space the next day on the booking sessions so i could get my blood tests done. They did so my mam took me down to my appointment and the midwife there took my blood and filled out my maternity notes. When she took my blood i told her i didnt want to see the needle or how much blood she took out, i could hear it being sucked into the tubes and when i saw them i was nearly sick lol. She then got me to lie on the table so she could feel my belly and listen for the heartbeat....we heard the heartbeat and i got well excited :D

Next day i went for my first scan and i couldnt go to the toilet before i went in so was sat crossing my legs but when i went in she said my bladder wasnt full enough so she got me a jug of water and told me to drink it all and she would get me back in 10 mins later. I went back in and the picture was clearer so it was all good. We saw the baby and all its major organs were fine and it had all its fingers and toes which made my day...i was scared in case i had done any damage to the baby seen as i never even knew i was pregnant...baby wouldnt open its legs so we could see what sex it was so was gutted!! The scan confirmed i was 22 weeks gone and my due date is 27th August...this means we have a month less to get everything ready seen as i am further on that what we first thought. Anyway my next scan is in 5 weeks time but need to go and see the midwife tomorrow for a check up i think so see how that goes.

Some News...

...a couple of days ago i dropped a sample off at the doctors as i thought i might be pregnant, was told the results would take 2-3 days to come through. I rang them up yesterday to see if they had got them back yet and they had and it confirmed that i am pregnant!!! Not sure exactly how far gone i am but was told to go to Surestart this monday coming at 10.30 and they will give me information on what to do next and hopefully set me up with my first scan and midwife. It didnt quite sink in but now it has and am kinda excited but nervous at the same time cos i wasnt expecting this but its done now :D
I aint slept with anyone else apart from Matt so i know for definite that he is the father. I was debating whether to tell him or not cos i knew how he would react and would probably cause trouble. Anyway in the end i decided he had a right to know so i called him up and told him, the reaction i got was kind of expected but still upset me so i hung up and burst into tears :( He said he wanted me to get rid otherwise he would come and kick the shit out of me and the baby!! After about 5 mins he called me back and was nice as pie apologising saying he was shocked but he doesnt want another kid etc and was telling me about work and how his parents are doing. After an hour he went and decided he would add me to MSN so we chatted on there for a bit, next thing i know i have some girl adding me asking why i was fucking with Matts head etc and how did i know for definite it was his kid, she then adds Matt to the convo and tells him she is going to smash my jaw or something cos i was bugging her (didnt even say anything to the lass!!) Came offline cos i don't need people threatening to beat me up etc!! He then kept calling the house phone and i didnt want to speak to him so my mam answered, he said something about he would report me for theft (he was on about some lasses address he had wrote down in one of my notebooks i once had at his which is now in my bedroom) I got annoyed with him keep calling so i spoke to him and asked why he was getting this girl involved cos it has nothing to do with her and i didnt need it right now. Was on phone for about 20 mins and still couldnt get it through to him that i wasnt bothered if he was in the babies life or not and wasnt expecting anything off him!! I said i was going as i was tired so he said he would speak to me some other time as we need to sort this out and wants me to meet him after he finishes work on Sunday but aint going and told him so, cos aint going just so he can beat the shit outta me and dont want to be anywhere near him right now.
I aint going to let him or anybody else spoil this for me!! I have my family and friends around me (and Laura in Nottingham lol) which is all i need so if he doesnt want to be in his babies life that is his choice. Been to Blyth today and my mam has bought me a "Pregnancy and Birth" book and a couple of pregnancy magazines so am busy reading them :D I will keep you posted on how we are doing and al post a pic of my scan when i get it...as Laura would say HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been Busy...

and thats why i haven't posted on my blog since i came back to Newcastle (well thats my excuse and i am sticking to it :p) Since my last blog not alot has happened really, not that it ever does around here lol.
I have just finished a 2 week mandatory course through the jobcentre called Learning Choices - Gateway to work and it was boring as hell but if i didnt go they could stop my dole money :( All we did was update our CV's, jobsearch and have a couple of people come in and give us tips on how to sell ourselves in interviews and what not to do in interviews. That was all in the first week, the second week we all had 2 or 3 days work placements where you go to a company and work for them to give you experience and hopefully get a job out of it. Two people off my course did get jobs out of their placements the rest didnt lol. I was put in a charity shop for 2 days and all i did was price books and clothes up and make sure everything was in size order on the rails (i could hardly contain my excitement!!!) Anyway there was a couple of fit lads on my course so atleast there was some eye candy lol. One of the guys was called Tony and he was a really nice guy and made everyone laugh, we swapped numbers and were texting loads and we going to keep in touch still and see where things go :D
Swapped rooms with my brother so i get the slightly bigger room and have decorated it how i wanted it (one wall mint green and the other three lilac) and it looks pretty good just need to buy new bedding, a blind and some nice foil curtains i have seen in au naturale. Bought a new double bed as have wanted one for ages but there wouldnt have been room in my old bedroom, now i just need someone to share it with seen as i am still single :(
Thats about it really, had a few interviews since i came back but aint been successful as of yet but fingers crossed i get this job i had an interview for on friday...i will keep you posted!!

Going Home...

Well am heading off back to Newcastle tomorrow as my mam has fallen down a couple of stairs and done her back in so am going back to look after her!! As my step dad is out all day working and my brothers have both moved out due to jobs I am being the kind, caring daughter I am :D and agreed to go back for a while. Am going to also be clearing my brothers room as it is a shit tip and needs decorating as it aint been done since we moved in almost 4 years ago. My room needs doing as well but my room has already been decorated since we moved in so isnt in such desperate need of being done. My new colour scheme is going to me mint green and light lilac I think, at the minute it is light and dark brown so I fancy a little splash of colour :P
The jobcentre are annoying me at the minute as they have underpaid me and didnt explain why. I was on national insurance contribution based allowance but it has run out and when I last signed on they should have explained to me that I needed to change my claim to income based allowance but they never did!! So I was expecting my normal amount of money this week but when I went to the bank it was about £40 odd short and I have things I need to pay which aint going to get paid now which means I will have people after me for money!! This is the second time they have messed up my claim and it is the same woman this time as it was last time. Last time she never put it on the system that I had signed on so I didnt receive my money, everytime I go now I always watch her put it on the system. Think am going to complain about her cos she obviously doesn't know what she is doing and I bet I aint the only persons claim she has messed up!!
Laura is back with Lee and has been since sometime last week. He came over a couple of days ago to talk with her and was here for about 5 hours so they must have had alot to talk about lol. I was sat upstairs out the way for a couple of hours (cos he doesnt talk when I am around for some reason!!) then got really cold and hungry so went and sat downstairs. They aint seen each other since but have been texting loads and she might be going to stay at his for a week at the end of March when his Mum goes away!!
Will post again once I am back in Newcastle and if I get time to inbetween looking after my Mam and clearing my brothers room xx

I know I am getting really bad at not posting on here but I aint always on my pc these days and aint coming on just to post a blog :p
Signed on Wednesday and Laura handed in her NVQ to her college as she was meant to have finished it but she was stuck on one question and was going to do it when we got home and email her work to her tutor but she aint done it yet as think she is still stuck...either that or she just cant be bothered to do it lol. On the way back for the bus home we passed a flower stall and Laura started going on about how nobody had sent her roses this year and was gutted so she give me £2.50 and made we walk back to the flower stall and get her one lol.
I got 2 Valentines cards this year, one off this guy called Omy from Hull who I met once when I was visting my dad and the other one was off a guy called Richard who is my pen pal :D they both fancy the pants off me (what can I say, you either got it or you aint lol). Laura bugged all these guys to send her Valentines cards so she ended up getting 7 in total so far and think she is still expecting 2 more. Didn't do anything for Valentines Day this year as have nobody to love me this year :( Laura and I just spent it with each other relaxing at home watching movies. It was my Mam and Craigs wedding anniversary today and also Lauras Mam and Dads wedding anniversary!!
Yesterday we went up to Lauras nans house as we got a new telly so they were getting the one we had before. The seats in the back had to be put down so the telly and the stand could fit in the boot. I was sat right on the edge of the seat and bent over like the hunch back of notre dame so by the time we got up there I had back, leg and neck ache :( Stayed up there for a couple of hours then we had to go shopping and get back for the dogs, didnt do much for the rest of the afternoon...sat and watched Lost Boys on dvd with Laura while her mam had a couple of hours sleep. When her dad got back we walked up to the chinese for something to eat as don't think anybody could be bothered to cook lol. Laura likes this guy called Omar who works in our local co-op and he asked to see her the other day but when we went down he was too busy. He was working last night so we decided to go back down about 9.50pm to catch him when he finished work. We didnt want to seem like we were stalking him or anything so we waited on the road next to the co-op as you can see the lights from the co-op in the shop window across the road. When we saw the shutters going down we casually walked past like we had just come from a friends house and he said "hi" and we replied but carried on walking. Cos we didnt stop he shouted after us that he wasnt working anymore so we could stop and chat to him. He started talking to Laura and you could tell he was proper flirting with her and was hinting that he wanted her to go back to his with him. He tried to use the chat up line "there aint no stars in the sky tonight, they are all in your eyes" we both creased up and Laura was like is that one of your chat up lines. Well anyway they got chatting and apparently he is coming up here on Tuesday to see her not that I think he will actually turn up to be honest but he might. They said their goodbyes and he shook her hand and wouldnt let go and started dragging her towards his messing about so she grabbed my hand and said we come as a package, he said he didnt mind if we came as a package (I mean which guy wouldnt say no to 2 girls coming back to their place?!?!) As we were walking back to Lauras house there was a man and woman stood at the bottom of her street, the guy was pissed out of his head and walked up to Laura saying "oOoOo your my kinda gal" then hugged her and then came to me and hugged me and apologised lol. The woman he was with was his aunty who said he wasnt any harm he was just a bit drunk, kinda knew that as he was stumbling around and stepped on my toe :( Stood there talking to them for about 20 mins as they were funny and then he was walking off trying to flag down a taxi or to get the bus so his aunty walked after him and we came home laughing our heads off. Went upstairs about 11 and I lay and read for half hour and Laura went on her laptop, was falling asleep so put my book down and closed my eyes...Laura came off her computer about 1am then went sleep. Not doing much today I don't think apart from house work before her parents get home and thats it, watching Ant and Dec tonight :D

Sorry I aint posted in ages...

Right, well Laura has been bugging me about not keeping my blog up to date so here it is to shut her up lol.
Aint been up to alot really just the usual, chilling, job centre, work directions and sleeping!! Lee (Laura's ex) came round on Tuesday last week to talk to her about stuff and try to sort things out but he hardly even spoke so I thought I should go upstairs out the way and he spoke a little but not much apparently. Anyway after about half an hour I came back downstairs cos Laura had txt me saying I could come back down lol. We kept having little digs at him about this Tash girl he finished Laura for, I said something like "what is it with guys and younger girls these days" because my ex had cheated on me with younger girls before and I don't think Lee was very impressed with that comment but I didn't care to be honest :D He txt her the next day or something saying he didn't know if it would be worth getting back together because he wouldn't have much time with work and cadets. He is so playing with her feelings and it is getting to her but she always puts on a hard front but I wasn't born yesterday.
Signed on on Wednesday and then when I got back I called them to see if they had changed the bank account that my money goes into. My bank account is overdrawn so if my money goes into there it means I won't have any money to spend so Laura agreed for me to get my money put into her account. They hadn't changed it even though the week before I had filled out the form to do it so I had to go back in that day to fill out the form again and this time they changed it thank god.
Didn't really do much for the rest of the week, went food shopping on Friday with Laura and her mam and think we just relaxed for the rest of the weekend. Yesterday we went out to Morrisons to grab a couple of things for tea and Laura treated us all to McDonalds then we came home and sat on laptops for most of the night (well when the internet was working we did).
Went to town today as I had to put some money in the bank for my Mam and had to get a couple of other things. Laura also had to hand out some CV's so we killed two birds with one stone. When we came back we wrote out the Valentines cards we are sending to people and watched Jeremy Kyle on tv, we both had tears in ours because this woman was on telling you how this little 13 month old boy had been physically abused by his father and had bruises all over his body but his mother did nothing about it. He was then in hospital on life support after his father had swung him by his ankles then thrown him against the wall :( Think we just relaxing for the rest of the day because its raining outside plus we have no money left lol.
